  1. Many people shoot a primer to foul the bore ( called a squib load ) to get a tighter fitting sabot or conical . I wouldn't consider it a waste at all. Many muzzleloaders actually are more accurate with a fouled barrel vs a clean barrel . The flame channel over time will build up with carbon if using bh209. Overtime too the flame channel will wear out . I think I tracked close to 400 shots before I noticed a grouping opening up.. Bought a new plug and good as new
  2. My guess wrong primer or a breach plug not designed to ignite it 100% of the time https://blackhorn209.com/specs/primers/#:~:text=Blackhorn 209 is designed to,Federal 209A

  8. I'm obviously in the minority but I prefer a bedliner all day . Why because when you throw cinder blocks and heavy wood on a wheel well with a spray in liner it will dent it and be visible. You do that with a bedliner it may or will dent it but won't be visible unless you remove the bedliner .
  9. Put the camera where you want you'll be fine
  10. Then many say get Florida, that will be next
  11. I have been using Ray o vac, typically can get on sale at depot or lowes . They just opened an ollies near us and they have magnavox 36 packs for 9 bucks . I usually change out once a year in spring then use the ones taken out in kids flashlights or tv remotes .
  12. Unless it is from the Fox Ridge custom shop all TC Hawkens no matter the caliber are 1 in 48 twist. White Mountain Carbines and some of the inlines had faster twist from 1 in 28 to 1 in 38 In a TC Hawken 50 one should get pretty good accuracy with a .490 ball, thick patch(.015-.20) and 70-80 grains of black.

  14. Signed up for my Utah CCW permit in early January, was really on the fence about it but then figured might as well. The way our new governor is going who knows what she'll change in 2022 . I have my CCW for albany co currently .
