i offered for people to come out and be the videographer but no takers...... put a tarp over the trap and a ride and all went well. Whew!

this was a sensitive operation no pics of the offender. Mostly because im not chancing a spraying. I could hear the trap door rattle and him trying to get out at 3 this morning from my bedroom window. So after a 9am meeting ran home on my lunch, changed clothes then to solve the problem and avoided being sprayed so thats a win. Gonna put it back out for a couple of nights in case he has friends but this one was the same size as the one i saw so i think i got em!

Mine usually is in reverse. Not many bucks til season. They def change patterns. This year I have only one buck on cam at both places I hunt . Which is unusual but it usually pics up mid oct. Last year at spot in 6S had hardly any bucks cam but ended up with my best ever and saw another big one in muzzle. I always hope to have does and take one early for the freezer then hope they draw the bucks in.

my plan was for the 21st to go out and do a walk about in early bear country up north but hunting bears on public land when forecast is for 83 on sat isnt sounding very productive.

Hopefully to a treestand near me. We usually don't get a lot of preseason bucks but never just one. But at least it's a decent one. Was nice to walk around the lease today. Have to go fox one cam that is apparently low on batteries and turn one a little cause of the sun. But do that this week and then out til season

Same as Fletch for me. Me and Corey pulled cams at lease today. Lots of does and still only one buck. A decent 8 pointer. Not even another spike or forkhorn though. Pretty unusual.
