No haters here. These were all 16 inchers today. Take them everyday!

One of my staff picked up a beautiful 11 point shoulder mount that was out by the trash cans. This mount was just beautiful no way you would throw it out, thinking the wife was making a statement before the divorce. Lol

Used to spend most of the summer on chase lake in lewis county. Our day was trout fish first thing in the morn. Breakfast with trout if we got em, then down to the lake to swim back up to the camp for dinner, then out to the woods to chase red squirrels with the bb gun and just before dark fish the lake for bass or walleye. Never be inside all day for more than 15 minutes. Campfire at night and racoon's would come in and we would watch them or play cards at night no tv in sight. It was so great.

Had to work for a limit today even got one on the sonar!!! Lol. And got the biggest cat I've ever got. 6lb test took like 15 minutes . Great fight. Fishing buddy Corey didn't get a fish. He had a walleye on. Wind kept changing and then just died to glass. Made it tough today.

Heard that too. Hard to see the show going on without him. And I like Madison in the fear show but it just doesn't keep me locked in. Like the new gunslinger in it too but just don't care for the show as much.

I am headed out on the walleye front on Oneida in the morning myself. Good luck.

Just what WNY said. Most of the local DEC guys are pretty helpful. But if you can email one, you then have it in writing.

Okay Lawdwaz ought to be in there by now. I didn't share this story earlier. My mom had this done and they punctured her colon and she had to have surgery from it. And then to top it off she had to have another surgery cause she had a hernia from the first one. Wtf! So I had to clean and dress her wound every night for a month for her. Not doing this! Going with the new test they have if anything. No way!

It's post spawn now. Generally the spawn is right after ice out and the fish are headed back towards the lake by opening day. This year was def different. Due to such a late ice which went well into April and a cold spring the spawn was later. On opening day the spawn was full on and the creeks were loaded. So through season they have been slowing making there way back into the lake. Now they are back in there lake post spawn mode. But still catching them shallow as the water isn't as warm as it would usually be by now. Finding fish gets a bit tougher in the summer as they tend to suspend more on bait.

Dying to be out fishing today !! Conditions are just like yesterday and had my limit of eyes by about now......stupid work.......gotta make the boat payment......

Pulled my buddies cams today and thought we would have some fawns but not a one. Did have 3 deer starting to sport headgear though.

Did the same this morn. Was limited out by 8 am. Didn't know what to do with myself. Lol. Nice catch. Been a good year for eyes.

Didn't get a permit this year. Will keep trying !!!
