Not a whitetail, and not anything too crazy but I think it's cool. This mule deer I shot, had a 4" drop/backwards brow point. Still in velvet. His ear on the side was very worn from this point always rubbing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Only if hunting. I get in the woods typically an hour before legal shooting time. I sit in the dark (unloaded). At the end of the day I unload but sometimes stay sitting for awhile past shooting time just to see if I can see anything off in the distance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why do u have to boil your traps? For scent or because of law/regulation? I know Canada with snaring, they rub pine needles in their hands before setting snares for wolf, Lynx, etc. trap line guys make big bucks. People pay $5k+ to tag along for a week up there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Try to make mental notes of certain trees and their yardages this way you might not even need to use the rangefinder if a deer is standing right next to, or in front/back of a tree you already know the distance of.
