2 bucks in 1 year. 1 with the xbow in CT or PA and 1 with the shotgun in NY. I've killed 5 bucks in the last 6 years, but never 2 in 1 year. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

Lame excuse? I didn't go last year, I was in Arizona. I went in 2011 to PA. I am going this year the last week of October. Maybe halloween will be lucky (again). Only hunted halloween twice in my life. 2011, I shot a porcupine in PA with the xbow. 2012, I shot a mt. lion in Arizona.

3 more pics....no more velvet.

Heading back tomorrow morning to hunt with my Dad. We will sit a couple hundred yards away from each other. Looks like it's supposed to be 55 degrees at sunrise with 96% humidity and low wind (5mph).

Here is the whale-tales archey facebook page > https://www.facebook.com/WhaleTalesArcheryWI/photos_stream One guy commented saying the buck probably came from this place in Wisconsin > https://www.facebook.com/pages/Apple-Creek-Whitetails-Ranch/237446782967132?sk=photos_stream -

My goal this year is shoot 200" worth of whitetail bucks. I got the following buck tags: 2 in CT 1 in NY 1 in PA If I kill 3 out of 4 bucks,I should clear the 200" mark. Never killed 2 whitetail bucks in 1 year. Maybe this year.... -

What are you guys talking about? This buck is from 2012..... I don't see anything about a Wisconsin buck from 2013. -
Can a Moderator change this title to "CT - 2013 Season", this way I can just keep one thread going for each day hunting as opposed to a new topic for each day.

Don't lie. I bet they don't even have schools up by you! Isn't the legal driving age like 12 up there, since they only have tractors? JUST KIDDING JOE! I used to skip school and watch my Dad hunt every opening day for deer every year, back when it didn't open on Saturday.

Pygmy- You are probably the equivalent of dominant buck. If you were a buck, I picture you like 7.5 years old, antlers declining, but with good mass and a roman nose or whatever they call it. I'm like a 2.5 year old 120" 8 pointer. Lots of potential, but lots of growing up to do.

Until Belo shows his real face, I don't think he is real. He is probably a She. A 13 year old fat girl with no friends, who despises hunting because her Daddy is a poacher.

How many does do you harvest???
BizCT replied to Pav2704's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
0. Shot a doe when I was 16 and 17, none since. The properties I hunt are very small if private (less than 10 acres) or state land. I have no interest in shooting does and I don't think the properties I hunt are overrun with them. I don't see many deer but when I do, it's a 50-50 chance it is a buck. I never see big groups of does hanging out together. -
Just to clarify it wasn't the first deer I ever missed. In Texas, 13 years ago I missed a nice 130" 8 pointer 3 or 4 times when I was 16, then my Dad shot him. Turned out my scope was off, must have gotten jarred in truck. Couldn't hit paper at 50 yards.

Nice 9 = Awesome 9!

CT is 2 buck tags, so I would still shoot a big 6 or a different nice 8 if I see one. I don't plan on shooting the 5 I have pics of or the smaller ones. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

Yup, hopefully he's a regular and I see him Saturday. He never saw me or anything. Wasn't skittish at all. After I shot, he looked confused not scared. Hopefully he comes back. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
