I know when financing a new tractor purchase, many financial companies will include insurance coverage for the term of the loan, at an additional charge, of coarse. I remember it was 1/2 of the price insurance companies wanted. The loan was also 0 percent for 48 months. Payment was 200 a month. Boy, those days are gone. I sure miss the old days

Leather work
landtracdeerhunter replied to Enigma's topic in DIY - Do It Yourself, tutorials and videos
Knife sheaths really added a nice touch with the extra rivets. That's something I've been going to build for 4 years now . The leather prices have gone out of site. I don't know if tanned deer hides would be thick enough? Their sure cheap enough. -
My policy has riders on all my tractors. Not covered if not listed separately on the policy. Never heard of the 25 hp auto coverage.. Best to check with your personal insurance carrier.

New York's officials looking out for the best interest of the hunter, LOL

I have to wait, just a few more years before I get mine.

Return Of Thompson Center

I'm have to do some research on TC. How in the world did the company sit for nearly 3 years without a liquidation? -
I smash my frames alot.

Great potential right there. Is your new hunting blind near by?

Also sealed the cracks better, between the boards.

I tried a piece of carpet to put my feet on the first year out. It attracted rodents. Went with the rubber mat. Also must add some insulating value to the floor.

I made ours so the roof comes off, side walls dismantle from the base. Everything is bolted together: just in case I didn't have the machinery to handle in the future. Pull up beside with a hay wagon, take apart . We also added a thick rubber mat to the floor , which greatly reduces the noise. Only thing is wet rubber boots squeak.

Windows are a good height for bow hunting. Nice width for drawback of bow. Windows flip up at out of the way. Shed roof, easy to build, yet effective. Stairway for easy access. Great shelter. We painted the inside of ours black; wear dark clothing and you blend right in. Almost can do a dance inside without being noticed. I added plexiglass windows which sure help when the cold winds a blowing.

I think theirs a far deeper point to be made here. Engaging in a sport you like and enjoy has far greater satisfaction and fulfillment; no matter what the target might be.

Great job!

Great idea, but I have 3 to take. They all want to go with Papa. They say I get really close to deer,.

Licenses Ditching Plastic and Going with Paper
landtracdeerhunter replied to airedale's topic in General Hunting
I will continue to stop into the local town hall to uptain a license. Wouldn't surprise me if they charge extra for getting it there. I can't justify a printer and ink for the extra cost. The days coming when an app will be all you need to show proof of hunting license and carcass tags. -
Bucks look different in velvet. I've seen several, in my travels through the counties. Two nice ones in a soybean field next to the highway yesterday. I thought the first one had. A big rack until I viewed the second, WOW.

The " hate promoters" in this country have to be held accountable. Their on news networks, talk shows, and especially in the Biden administration. The left will do what ever it takes to promote their adenda. Tear this country apart, if need be. They have nothing else left. Companies that sponsor this sort of tactic can be financial influenced to change their motives. We as Americans can take the steps to turn this country around. We should have never let it get this way. Alot of hard work needs to be done. I'm counting on us. I know we can do it.

We've seen small rattlesnakes along the escarpment in Lockport, central Niagara County. Heard of sittings in the Alabama. Swamps in Genesee County. They could have been Gopher snakes too, which look similar, but I wasn't sticking around to find out.

I had 2 myself. They come in dam handy in bad weather.

At 62 years, I think your both lucky to have each other. Congrats!

It never ever gets old being close to wildlife. Safely, of coarse.

Licenses Ditching Plastic and Going with Paper
landtracdeerhunter replied to airedale's topic in General Hunting
The whole idea of this change was to make it easier for hunters to obtain a license to get out faster.. More Internal Intelligence failures on the horizon.
