  1. If these crazy gun laws continue in this state, I will join American Tactical, And never look back!
  2. What kind of pricing found, compared to the same feature Covert?
  3. Not at all. I find new rubs right into February here, every year.
  4. Nice! A buck loosing his antler right in front is something I've never witnessed, but I'm trying, LOL. Always caught them when already dropped. Sparring would be rare to see, this time of the year also here. I believe the second phase of breeding is pretty well wrapped up here. We may get another go around towards the middle of this month, I hope! Of coarse, far less intense than the first two. Hope that antler stays put, so u may go in at the end to recover.
  5. Not here., LOL. Isn't there a AR thread already started?
  6. Found yesterday, 1st for this year. Hunting for deer and sheds all at once!
  7. Last Sunday night, watched a doe lick noses with it's doe fawn at 35 yd... Just had to pass that one. The will to shoot was lost that night, except if "Big Hoof" walked out, LOL.
  8. It was tagged as a buck. He had the one antler to show DEC. He figured he shot it as a buck, so the buck tag was the right way to go. The other side had fresh blood at the antler area, so must have just lost it. He back tracked it a good long ways, but no luck finding the other side.
  9. My candle still lit and has a very long stem yet. I could do this deer hunting stuff right into February, like Ohio does.
  10. Not sure what tag he did use. Not sure it would be legal to put a DMP. on it.
  11. An interesting note. Cousin got this buck on the last day of November this year. It had already shed one antler. After the shot on the power roll, he lost the other one.
  12. If wearing orange will prevent just one accident, I'm all for it. Did u get any pheasants?
  13. Yep, nothing like getting out in old Ma Nature by your lonesome. Your just get to see and hear, that much more!
  14. I even said I'd buy her a set of Victorinox kitchen knives. LOL, no dice.
  15. Wish my wife would cut up my deer, seriously!
  16. Not near of a big deal that the news media made out of it, maybe 4" with melting underneath.
  17. Haven't seen the road kills as much here, the last few years. I think the ones that get hit don't lay there long. I know I've got some very good venison of them.
  18. The only good coyote is a dead coyote. We don't see many, but they get hunted quite heavily here.
  19. Nothing like your first deer hanging on the wall year around!
