  1. Not here., LOL. Isn't there a AR thread already started?
  2. Found yesterday, 1st for this year. Hunting for deer and sheds all at once!
  3. Last Sunday night, watched a doe lick noses with it's doe fawn at 35 yd... Just had to pass that one. The will to shoot was lost that night, except if "Big Hoof" walked out, LOL.
  4. It was tagged as a buck. He had the one antler to show DEC. He figured he shot it as a buck, so the buck tag was the right way to go. The other side had fresh blood at the antler area, so must have just lost it. He back tracked it a good long ways, but no luck finding the other side.
  5. My candle still lit and has a very long stem yet. I could do this deer hunting stuff right into February, like Ohio does.
  6. Not sure what tag he did use. Not sure it would be legal to put a DMP. on it.
  7. An interesting note. Cousin got this buck on the last day of November this year. It had already shed one antler. After the shot on the power roll, he lost the other one.
  8. If wearing orange will prevent just one accident, I'm all for it. Did u get any pheasants?
  9. Yep, nothing like getting out in old Ma Nature by your lonesome. Your just get to see and hear, that much more!
  10. I even said I'd buy her a set of Victorinox kitchen knives. LOL, no dice.
  11. Wish my wife would cut up my deer, seriously!
  12. Not near of a big deal that the news media made out of it, maybe 4" with melting underneath.
  13. Haven't seen the road kills as much here, the last few years. I think the ones that get hit don't lay there long. I know I've got some very good venison of them.
  14. The only good coyote is a dead coyote. We don't see many, but they get hunted quite heavily here.
  15. Nothing like your first deer hanging on the wall year around!
  16. b. and shes not bred yet. She's missed the first go around or maybe an early born doe fawn. You must have a lot of doe. If she were to stay in this area, I'd be hunting there. She's close. Then comes the old judgement call, shoot the doe or take a chance on the buck, that just may well come in. Maybe be real lucky and shoot them both. Hope it turns out for ya with a dual harvest pic, LOL.
  17. Still seeing a lot of deer here. Second breeding season has already started. No herding, as of yet. Don't seem to be the normal amount of hunting activity for second weekend. May have been due to the placement of Thanksgiving this year.
  18. Looks like someone else is having one hell of a season! I'll add one, the flu hit me like a ton of bricks coming in, Sunday night. Going out tonight though, come hell or high water, LOL.
  19. Congrats! Comparing the head structure of the OP to WNY's, the heads look different. Could be the straight on pic of the OP though.
  20. Why such the large increase now, the holidays?
