Thinking of getting into food plotting?
landtracdeerhunter replied to G-Man's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
This rototiller does a beautiful job of breaking up any somewhat rock free soil. The problem is it will only reach a depth of 3-4" in my clay loam soil. I have to use a chisel style plow to reach a depth of 6". I have done several gardens in the area, nearly paying for the unit. I enjoy seeing the results this unit returns. My dogie hitches a ride on the tractor with me and has to get in the pic, LOL. -

I hear scrap prices are up. Best place for this. Drain the oil out before taking to the salvage yard. -

If it's any bigger than my living room, it's tractor power for me, except for the frost seeding. I get enough workout with haying, LOL. -
We had an earlier thread on this, but always room for one more, LOL.

My SIL lives in Niagara Falls. Their street hasn't been plowed yet either, only 12" there.

Any Predictions?
landtracdeerhunter replied to Doc's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
A successful politician need only 2 things to achieve their goal. The news media and strong financial backing. A politician will do anything it takes, to achieve this. To hell with, for the good of it's people. Our political process has gone right out the window. -
Any Predictions?

Don't forget the gambling issue. He wants to stick it to the Indian people, for not paying their share of casino winnings. I suppose he'll ram that through too, without putting it before the voters. All we need is more casinos in this state. Hope Mickey Mouse runs in the next election. I'll vote for him! -
Guess I won't be using this today, LOL.

About 15" in eastern Niagara County from the Alberta Clipper and some lake effect. Some drifting but all in all, faired far better than the people on Long Island, Conn., Mass. areas. Heard it's that heavy wet snow for them.

Add one of these to make it complete.

Time to wax up the cross country skis. Build up the old leg muscles. Maybe 6-12" here, 40 degrees Sunday.

We really could use more snow here, for the water content. It's dry here still, from last summers drought. Grounds sucking up huge amounts of water, Water table is still lower than normal. Know most people don't want to see it, but without it, another dry year could be in order.

Enjoyed your Birds of Spring video. Thanks for posting.

Nice. I like the straight ahead pose. I built a few pivot brackets, to turn left or right slightly. To change the look down the road.

I do agree with the respect part, but that's it. -

Yeah right, LOL. Shes does the same thing that Chyrsler, Fiat just did. Their is just one goal for either of them, make money. Appeal to our fine Military service men and women to buy jeeps. Appeal to the American farmer to but pickup trucks. -

Got to throw a monkey wrench in here. I'm just not seeing what the rest of u are on the Jeep and Dodge commercials. It goes to show that Chrysler, Fiat, will use any means possible, to promote their product. -
Thanks for the reply Eddie. Makes sense to me that the draw length doesn't change. Arm distance will, to a small extent. This will be my 8th year with this bow and never used the d-loop. The area where the release attaches, still looks good. The bow shop, where the bow was purchased said they were not needed, so never went with one. I suppose their could be some getting use to a d-loop. This is the original string. Everything is so nicely super tuned on this bow. Kinda like a super tuned wrist watch. I hate to have a new string put on, but know it's due.

My release attaches right to the string.I have never used a D-loop, but would like to. Now I'm assuming when it is installed, it will lengthen my draw length. Will I have to shorten?
