Narrow or Wide?

American Farmall and the Russian Belarus tractors were the only 2 with down pressure on the 2 point- 3 point arms. Worked well for some activities. -
A matured (age) hunter is less likely to have an accident than a younger hunter. I'll bet the stats wouldn't support this.
-
Yeh, these numbers are firearm related only. Would like to see other stats when released.

In Holley????? OMG. I worked in Holley years ago by the car wash. I just might go up there, just to see this. Maybe hunters should organize a nice peaceful rally of their own. Be a nice little fund raiser for the fire company. Maybe throw $10 into a hat for them.

They used those on that Carnival cruise ship that engines failed on, alternator trouble, LOL. What, 4300 people, used those for days. Had to be one heck of a stench.

Yep, beef streak and shrimp on the grill, fresh baby carrots, and baked potato, lot of sour cream for the misses. Give me a venison burger. One time of the year I cook. Any other time, it's soup and sandwich when I'm in the kitchen, if theirs one left, LOL.

My answer is a BIG NO. NO NARROW, for woods work! Their called a tricycle front end. Also known as thumb breakers. Cheaper in price today than a wide front. Originally designed for cultivating and planting. Work good on a buzz saw too. They are all row crop design for clearance, when cultivating, thus putting the center of gravity higher than a normal utility tractor. They also worked well on the planter, tuning on a dime, but extreme flip over could result, if speed wasn't held in check. Many an accident has occurred on these tractor, because their being used more than what designed for. Also be aware of International tractors with down pressure on the 3 pt. hitch. Vary dangerous if not used properly. We use to convert narrows to wide front years ago, but don't think it's cost effective today. -
What if they don't use the driveway?

I believe the bottle deposit started in 1983 in NYS.. Don't know about anyone else but I had been livein, quite a while, LOL. I like Elmo's answer, that was a good one!

Wow, $500. Did some last year for $150 and thought I was overcharging, LOL. But, they did furnish the diesel fuel. -
Cost of Corn Plot???

I definitely would plant some of this acreage to field radish. Deer eat that from September-, in fact they are still visiting the field. It's like desert to them. -

Cost of Corn Plot???
landtracdeerhunter replied to TheMiz54's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
Take a good look around your area to see how much corn is being planted by others. Farmers generally harvest their corn by mid to late November, so action in your field may be limited till then. I like to witness how much corn is planted around me, before making a acreage calculation. No-till may be a more cost effective approach to planting your corn. Corn does well and the land doesn't get as soft in late fall. Spray will control weed-grasses. -

Thinking of getting into food plotting?
landtracdeerhunter replied to G-Man's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
This rototiller does a beautiful job of breaking up any somewhat rock free soil. The problem is it will only reach a depth of 3-4" in my clay loam soil. I have to use a chisel style plow to reach a depth of 6". I have done several gardens in the area, nearly paying for the unit. I enjoy seeing the results this unit returns. My dogie hitches a ride on the tractor with me and has to get in the pic, LOL. -

I hear scrap prices are up. Best place for this. Drain the oil out before taking to the salvage yard. -

If it's any bigger than my living room, it's tractor power for me, except for the frost seeding. I get enough workout with haying, LOL. -
We had an earlier thread on this, but always room for one more, LOL.

My SIL lives in Niagara Falls. Their street hasn't been plowed yet either, only 12" there.
