  4. 42 and dam cold. Swinging through the trees this morning, I could see my breath.
  5. Looks like I have another unexpected crop to hunt this year. They usually bring in a lot of deer.
  6. I don't know what the fine is, but I'd bet it's $50 with the state surcharge.
  7. Emission leak turned out to be an unplugged connector on the vent valve. Knock sensor was water in fuel. A $3 can of K100 G cured the problem. I pose as a mechanic once in a while, LOL. My wife says I'm use full to have around, just for these issues, LOL.
  8. Bubba got me to try the Blackhorn 209 powder some years ago when he was on here. I never looked at pellets again. Found my niche at 93 grains and shoot that each year. It adds a touch of history using the loose powder, pouring it down the barrel and all.
  9. I'll be in my cooking breakfast stand as always. Home fries, scramble eggs, venison links, pancakes, and pan toast. I make an omelet this year, just for kicks.
  10. You could be doing other non productive things with your cash. I guess it all depends on how you look at it. It's a way of life with me. I love the soil. I enjoy the success from the fruits of my labor. Beside, the radish are tasting very good in the coleslaw, these days.
  11. The cloud pattern from once hurricane Florence make the sky nothing short of spectacular at sundown. Thanks for posting Rob.
  12. I walked back to take a look at mine. I don't see any radish disturbed except where I pulled one to post a pic.. Now the oats on the other hand, they are hammering. Grain is or was in the boot. Their chewing them right off. The way it's looking, very few oats will be left to head out.
  13. Sounds like you're lining things up for the fast approaching season. Are they just eating the tops or the tubers too? You must be the best food source for them right now.
  14. I have some brush piles that I cut inserts into. The right height and zero movement is the key to success.
  15. Move that cam the right please. He's bedded down chewing his cud.
