ive never used a trail marker. but my friends cant find some of my stands so i broke down and put some up this year.. idk if its worth the effort .. if you cant find the stand then dont hunt it.....lol -

long beams , wide ,and great mass those measurements alone would have it in 100s add in 10 pts of legnth. its possible. looks pretty symetrical as well

i have a big 8 pt that the check station told me was 3.5 years old looking at jaw. i then showed them sheds from same buck going back 5 years. i took tooth to friend at museum who thin sectioned it and counted rings and it came back at 8.5.. my guess by using sheds was 7.5 . most jawbone agers do not have a clue. soil conditions play big role in wearing teeth as well as rounding the tips of hooves.

found the 1st active scrape of the year today was maybe a day old by looking at the broken limb above it. set cam on it expect one of several bucks i have on cam already to be responsible. to be continued

1st was a pse from bowhunters warehouse 2nd was a used onida strike eagle ( took my 1st deer amd 1st buck with this bow had it from 91 to 99) 3rd mathews mq 32. bought new . used it for quite a while . still have it and use as back up 4th and current mathews drenalin. taken many and my largest archey buck with this bow.

the only.marks i make are by my stand usually paint on a tree to mark of yardage so i dont need to pull out a rangefinder..if its standing at a tree with 25 on it then its 25 yards.. simple

was a 5 gallon pail of satin sealer on sale from home depot water based.. dont remember the name of top of my head. pictures really dont do it justice. looks much better in person just keep torch back further if to light in effect for you do another pass. -

use a roofing torch . if it to dark you can sand to lighten. really makes grain pop out, hardening the wood is a good thing keeps rot away much longer. if you then seal it will last for many years they use to do it on boards for roofs before shingles with no sealant. -

ever think of burning it to harden it then seal it? -
i had very good luck amd longevity with cuddie back some are 15 years old and work fine. butt last few years they have no been to same quality. i believe they got to big. 2 to 3 years was all i got out of last few.. i switched to brownings. but had bunch of old film cameras i traded for stealth . ill try them .better than old cams taking up space and at least i got sonething for them.

i got 3 and gave 3 cameras to another friend to trade in and gave 2 to another i still have a few bad cams left.. its a pretty good deal.. not a great camera but more than adequate
