    if found dead turkeys with out a mark on them and if it wasnt for feather marks on the snow you would think diesese. but can tell it was hit from above.. looked pretty healthy been watching 2 kits and parents all year. now down to 1 kit...

    nope was dressed for work got called out when i was there to go to cleveland..

    ive logged, girdled trees , removed aspen so the sucker from roots, planted orchard, trees, spruce for thermal cover, released natural apples, let fields go fallow. dug ponds, and i remove 10 doe a year to keep population in check.

    its why i dont use a climber. ... need to be in the spot to kill a deer you might see, than to see deer you might only be able to kill

    exactly.. the stand needs to go where shot will be not the tree for the stand

    i do this inthe spring to roost trees for turkey. go in mid day kick all the leaves out nice quiet walk in the dark to 20 yards from where they roost, works well during youth hunt as kids just dont watch their step.. as for deer in the fall the trails are mowed with brush hog and i get about the same result.

    my friend is growing it and then blacken it gets 30 lbs a lb for it.

    the dec game management is secondary it is an enviromental protection agency thay also does game ,completely different than other states game departments.

    its not antler restrictions but short split seasons that help most of those states

    look at entrys ans dates this isnimber of entries over 18 years. you may as well hunt here you have about as.much chance or.maybe more depending on where in nys you hunt. wi for example 800k hunters a year. 426 entries over 18 years.. or 23/800000. a year.. ill stick it out and save my money and hunt here.

    grow garlic! always brings good price as do certain mushrooms. both are failry easy to grow
