I do plant but large acreage a 1/2 of corn to get a few dozen ears off, no farms by Mr for many years, though the fallow fields about 1/2 mile away are being put into cow corn now, might relieve the pressure from the garden...

Unless your going with top ammo a rifled.barrel is unnessary, most shots are under 50 yards, why pay 3 bucks a bullet when 1 a bullet will do same thing, rifled sights could be nice if she is use to shooting with them ,otherwise a bead at 70 yads is more than suffient. When you goto saboteur rounds in a 20 your down to 44 cal, the knock dow n power drops quickly ,so to compensate the add powder and more recoil.. 2 and 3/4 or 3 in conventional slugs are more than enough for a youth to handel. Just my opinion but why hurt a youth and make them afraid of recoil...

I have heard that, but that isn't a pond guarantee. It's I'll try or fill it in... I've seen people line ponds with pvc ,import clay and spread but they don't guarantee it will hold water...

You don't need a rifled barrel, shot 3 in groups at.70 yards with that combo.

No one guarantees ponds, but grey clay is ice age deposit, you my find bones while digging ( actually very possible) worked on a site in Byron for over 20 years where a farmer wanted to dig a pond, and another in Springville where a home owner dug for a pond. Pm me if you need more info on stocking ponds I did a ton of research before I dug my ponds and would be glad to pass it on.

Don't dig it shallow no spot needs to be less than 4 ft unless you want ducks and geese, and stock it with pond (mud)crayfish for at least a year before you add fish they will control your weeds no need for a grass carp... fat head minnows and nesting structure are always good to add before fish as well. a 1/2 acre pond can support 250 lbs of fish if done properly stocking is properly right numbers to surface area is key.

That is why you can't compare nys to other states ,in that we can have big bucks tooif we only had antler restrictions ,just 1 buck,ect... our hunter density is very high,and everyone wants a buck, I like it here and so all right..dumb list..

There are white (seneca army depot ) piebald (some extra white in verying degrees) albino white( with pink hooves,eyes and noses)those are pretty rare, and the rarest of all melenistic or black deer ( lack of white anywhere) though I believe there are varying degrees of black as well, I once got a nice 7pt that was very dark and had no throat patch and the white was more grey than normal on rest of the body.

I've used a owl hooter (can type is my favorite,),and silent dog whistle, and elk bugle to get them to gobble night before, silent dog whistle to get them in am or owl call. during the day crow call,peacock,elk bugle,horn off my 82 Honda scooter,hawk, dog whistle and cutting on a large boat paddle, don't use any when you thin your close to rooted bird I stop using when about 100 yards away in early spring and maybe 75 when fully leafed out.
