I think DEC would take the position that any potential benefit to allowing it would be more than offset by the potential for disease spread.

Ivermectin Study
DoubleDose replied to Shoots100's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
If you want to PROVE a drug works, you do it by controlled double blind comparative studies, preferably against placebo. Observational studies, regardless of how large, cannot prove cause and effect (giving a drug and getting a particular outcome). -
Tuna regulations can change over the course of the season. Blue Fin Tuna regulations are 27" to less than 73". Those 73" and over are giants and closed to recreational permits. Typical bag limit is 2 at 27" to less than 47" and 1 at 47" to less than 73"/per boat. Your fish looks like a Yellowfin which is 27" and over at 3/person/boat.

You absolutely do NOT want sharks. They will bite your tuna in half (or more) while you are fighting them. Also, Mako shark currently have a 2 year moratorium and you cannot take them.

And NEVER forget this isn't about some law granting a privilege (like driving). This is your Constitutional Right and the ONLY one that within it says "Shall not be infringed". -
What's going on with Billing Departments ?

Offshore "costs" are at least 1/3 as expensive as US based. Unfortunately, most big US companies view labor (people) and customer services as a business expense (debit) cutting into profits, rather than an asset or value. -
They have been catching giant bluefin tuna (think Wicked Tuna) off Rockaway, NY the last couple of years. All insight of the NYC skyline.

I am an offshore fisherman. Here is some advice to best enjoy the trip. If there is a chance you will get seasick start taking Dramamine night before trip so in your system during trip. Bring clothes for different conditions, hot, cool, chilly, rain gear, fresh socks, waterproof shoes/boots. Sunscreen/block (SPF45 minimum). Stay hydrated. Have a large cooler filled with ice waiting for the trip home.

Ask yourself, if they are a viable option rather than a novelty, why is the government NOT changing over all their vehicles? Seems they should lead by example!

So why bring up DJT? What you now describe as your point has been the way the of World and America forever. The TRUTH is both of these scenarios and none of these scenarios work!!!!! Why? Because you cannot control PEOPLE behavior. There are selfish/greedy/cheaters/criminals in both scenarios. Give billions to education and see how much of that trickles down to the students and more importantly better grades/intelligent Americans!!! If you don't get the latter the money was wasted.

Non-Res Pistol Permits?
DoubleDose replied to silentdog's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
That would be racist and unconstitutional! -
Carry permits, jokes on you suckers !

What would that entirely predictable chaos look like? Criminals (some now legally carrying) shooting other criminals? This is already happening. Criminals (some now legally carrying) shooting law abiding citizens? This is already happening. Law abiding citizens (now legally carrying) shooting criminals? This is already happening. Law abiding citizens (now legally carrying) shooting other law abiding citizens? This already happens rarely; and not chaos. The facts and statistics do not support CHAOS. -
...and the NYS Dem machine will be glad to kill them off. Killing them off is just another type of control on gun owners!

Hmmm! 95% Federal Excise Tax on American Pharmaceutical Manufacturers? At the same time Medicare can negotiate prices? Don't think for one second prices of medications are going to come down now.

The benefits of cleaning far outweigh the potential impact on hunting accuracy. I dirty barrel may affect accuracy but a deer has a 8-10" kill zone, and the effect will never be noticed. A dirty barrel will attract moisture and hold moisture which can cause rusting and pitting which will ruin a barrel and accuracy. Competitive shooters, especially long-distance (>200 yards), typically do not clean their barrels during a season because it is all about pinpoint accuracy for scoring.
