    Unfortunately I dont know of a single spot in this area, sorry. I know of only one spot in a state park, they have a gravel pit but that is way the heck out of your way and a b!tch to get to.

    About 5 inches here in Latham, about 2 inches on the way from an additional band coming in from west. 4U where i will be hunting Allegedly has about 6+. That is northern Columbia County. They are saying southern Columbia county has 10 inches.

    How about Chatham? They just changed their estimate from 5-7 to 4-8. Spread keeps growing, what is your analysis?

    I have a 700 SPS in 7mm08 it is such an accurate rifle out of the box. I remember shooting 2 inch groups at 100 yards the day I bought it without even adjusting my glass! So impressive. I love the versatility of the 7mm08, can handle any game on the north American continent short of brown bear. Almost zero noticeable recoil, flat shooting out to 300, little muzzle blast. Me likey!

    I am an ex smoker, so i empathize with the smokers on this one. I also appreciate the smoker i hunt with as the deer will smell his location, and not mine!

    NWS has chatham @ 4-7 inches as of this morning. Last night the outlook was 2-5, yesterday afternoon 1-3. I like how this is trending!

    Has it been boresighted with scope? Take it to gundealer or gunsmith, for appx $25 depending on where you live they will properly mount scope and boresight. I had to re boresight and re mount my scope this weekend, i was having same problem. I boresighted mine 9 yrs ago and it needed a refresh, now i am shooting 1 1/2 inch shot groups from sand bag.

    Ok that tells me he was in a battle dome with other bucks and got his @$$ kicked by bigger bucks. Rut is on and from the battle damage he had on him, you have a good cast of bucks in your area. You have good prospects for rest of season, my friend! Multiple bucks IN your area!

    Make sure you do a good tick check on way out, that place is notorious. This is time of year they are super aggressive, trying to find something to latch on to before winter. Oh and good luck on hunt of course!

    Nice piece. Everytime I go to my local gun store I am always tempted by the .357 revolvers. Love the Taurus in particular.
