Farmers now rotate hay fields... so now they are turned under every couple years . Same as the other food crops. Alot of the farms are making giant fields removing hedge rows. Or farms have gone out and the fields are over grown.

Never thought about it was more worried about getting it out of the plant without getting it hurt or one of us getting hurt. I have a skin at home I use from time to time . I picked it up at fly fishing flea market . I have used all the bigger quills years ago

Been picking up a few quills tonight ... surprised on how many he shed I'm up to 12. We must have scattered them with our boots. I have a Couple nice length ones I'm going to tie extended body coffen flies with.

Hard to find a good spot with chucks. Between farming practices changing and yotes there definitely isn't as many as there use to be

We had a visitor at work last night. He fell off while trying to get on another pipe snagged him in a trash can and slid a piece of sheet metal underneath. Carried him outside no critters or people harmed in this endeavor... porcupine lives matter !

Wow that's a nice garden ... mine seems to be struggling this year . My squash and cucumbers really not doing well . Just picked up some miracle grow . Will water early tomorrow morning as I am working 3-11.

The constitution was intended to define laws . Laws were never to define or interpret the constitution. For one religious freedom gives you the right to practice your religion. Separation of church and state intent was to keep religion from becoming a governing body. Not remove all religious references or influence. The values set forth in the constitution were based on puritanical beliefs. Over the last 60 years the constitution has been under attack and has been weaponized to push social agendas. Everytime the supreme court passes a ruling that defines the constitution.. or interprets in their belief we weaken its strength.

Watered hard last night . Garden came through the day in good shape . Going to water again tonight ... help the plants through tomorrow . Had 92 f when I got home at 3:30.

I had a few older bamboos I paid way to much for . Sold them off as I could never warm up to the slow action and then weight. They were so damn heavey they could put a set in your shoulder . I wonder where they are in the hatch cycle

I dont have the before pics anymore . New skids Reinforced top of deck Trailing edge was stoved in on either side of the wheel I will be honest son in law did most of the work since he has been layed off.

So I finally got my new to me 4 foot brush hog back . Had to do alot of work on the deck . Person that had it last beat the snot out of it . Between my son in law and I we beat it back to shape reinforced . New blades.. bolts . Had to get a new drive line as the old one was bent . Older lands pride 1248 . Heavey son of a gun . Got it on my kubota BX 2670 and took it to my hunting property. Property was clear cut 20 plus years ago so its thick . It's been 5 years since it was brush hogged outside of the tractor paths I keep open for trailes to stands . This was the landing used for the logging operation . I have been whittling away at the bigger brush since last fall. Next trip will go at the bigger trees and honey suckle with chain saw. It's still pretty wet in spots . Had to use the front end loader to get out of a couple spots . Should be spraying in 2 weeks or so . Planting a fall plot of clover / radish .

Watched a guy do the same thing in Watkins glen a few years ago ... ripped the entire axle off both sides . That big old dodge had some pulling power I will tell you.
