Nice deer indeed. I am with you, hope he makes it! That is a nasty G2 on his left side! Also looks like you may have the same scoring issue on this deer as The "King buck", right G2 split or not?

I would have to say it is split. Mainframe 8 with 4 nontypical points, or maybe a 10 with 2 nontypical points?

Are you sure that 12 is a 2 year old Sam? He has the more body characteristics of a 1.5 year old...

Here's the 12 vs. a known yearling in a side by side comparison. I still think the 12 is 2. Regardless he is cool and has a ton of potential. Unfortunately I've had 2 other really young bucks with racks similar that didn't last long.

yeah that buck will be something if he gets a couple more years on him. Hell he's nice now!

I agree he is way cool... I was just asking because he is even more impressive if he's a 1.5 year old... for a 2 year old.. lots of points but not much else.. not quite as impressive to me.. honestly, I've seen nicer 2 .5 year old 8 pointers... don't get me wrong though.. he's still a keeper for the future.
