Live From the Stand 2012

That's the entry hole... Very impressed with those heads. My buddy used them too on his 7 today. Our buddies shoot the montes and my partner and I shoot the rage. They abuse us for using them but moments like this we love cause we send them the pics! Lol

yesterday afternoon drove me nuts...walk down drive...grunting next to house....walk 100 yrds in woods narrow high rack running away up over ridge...heading down to stand kick out a doe and twins...get to stand hooking up for sit...bow on ground in come two buck...the 6 I passed on in the morning and another dark rack I cant make out....tree branches....they spar...rub trees...20 yrds away ...then the 6pt comes rt up to my tree and looks around.......they finally move off but still insight enough to see legs...I get bow and settle...for 2 hours I have 60-70 yrds out..... buck running doe back and forth along the rt side of the stand...darn doe can really move!...Grunts down in the slashings but no sightings.....got to check weather...there will not be any more passes....times short

45 when I got in stand on the island now 52. Supposed to warm up quick. Trying to stick it out till 11. So far a doe, doe & fawn, doe & fawn again, and just had a forkhorn. Nose to the ground kind of half interested following trail Doe & fawn took.

Warm and comfortable, no deer of course. Staying til 11 but starting to feel I may not see anything before then.

Just a 5 but did not come towards my stand. Yesterday was wild but nothing came close. Going to try to hold out.

Finally in my stand on a new prosperity I wanted to hunt 30 yards into the woods apples to my left corn to my right jumped 2 does in the apples on my way in hopefully my sent drag

Works today planning on sitting until dark

Best day of the season by far. Best day in years to be honest. Three different bucks chasing does. Came to full draw twice but couldn't stop them. Pulled the card on trail cam and my 7pt is back. Gotta go though... lunch date with my daughter. Hunting 4A.... ill try an evening hunt this week.

unfortunetly thats the house across the street.. my car scared them out of the front yard when i started it... im going to google earth the distances between my woods and all the neighboors... the 2 does are pretty damn big.. maybe 130-150lbs just by looking

just did google earth.. its only 200-315ft between my woods and all the neighboors :'(

the picture makes it look like an open field but its not.. there is a guy down the road that has a really nice field and i keep seeing a very nice buck only at night on the side of the road by it.. guessing thats where he lives

Went out around 1 and set another hang on about 100 yards down the ridge from my other am stand...definitely warm out there.

I now have both main entrance/exits on the ridge covered, hopefully other hunters will notice and stay out of my funnel.

It's never a problem in archery, but weekends in gun season, especially opening day is ugh.
