Bear atractants

Since we can not bait them is/or do they sell atractants such as they do with deer,if so where do they sell it?I ask because i have seen them durring the summer and have not since.

Dom, I just saw code blue bear attactant in Tom's in Ellenville yesterday. It was a big bottle so you would have to put 1.5 ounces in a small bottle to take in the field as I think that is the limit in NY. Good luck. I know there are other brands besides anise oil. Good luck.

Thank's hunter,It's a little late this season next season is going to be the greatest for myself.This season I have put together a note book full of ideas/suggestion's and will start using them soon after July 4th weekend.Everyone/member's are very helpfull with info.Sometimes we disagree but in the end we all are living for the land.

I brought the inscents. They do NOTHING !! But stink terrible. All my camo stinks. Doesn't come out in the wash.

yes but in the regulations there is a limit on the amount you can use. i don't recall what it was. I seem to remember like an ounce and a half or something. It ins't much but not a lot is required for a honey burn. That is one sicky sweet smell.

I had a bear come to a deer scrape three times in one afternoon. Had code red buck lure in it.

Did honey burn once. Felt like I was breaking the law with the volume so I wont do it again. Maybe a bear bomb or beaver castor this year.

I use essence of Dunkin Donuts!!!LOL I have tried them all.Honey burn,beaver castor any bear lure I could find and never had any luck.This isnt just trying to hunt over them,this is leaving things out with a trail cam.I had one pic of a bear that had come into the beaver castor but he walked right through and didn't even give it a second sniff
