Obtaining Pennsylvania pistol permit

Ok since Penn. blocks my travels south and they don’t recognize my NY, Fla, and Utah permits I’ve decided to get the Penn one as well . I’ve looked on line for fast easy in / out counties but most seemed to be way East of me .

Anywho , I’ll be in Penn at the end of the month , heading to Pittsburg then Virginia, so any place near Erie and on down , I know some Buffalo members got them so I figure there’s a favorable county nearby .

Eries Sheriff department. Another member and i went there and were outta there in few minutes. Used to be able to walk out with it that day. Only took a couple weeks upon receiving though

There's a form that your issuing  County sheriff  has to fill out now , proving your still in good standing . Made the trip down to Potter County last year only to be turned away for no form . I dont know if its all counties.

Doesn’t help you out but my dad got his in PA just south of Binghamton said it took him 10 mins walked out the same day with it.

Head down to Erie PA....visit the sheriff's office in the courthouse. They are aware of all the people heading down from NY to get a PA pistol permit so the process is pretty quickand simple.

I did mine quite a few years back more towards central PA. In and out in 15 minutes. Just remember you need to send them a copy when you renew your NY permit.
