noodle one
Every time that I walked out of the house this morning the geese were flying high and headed north. This the frist day that I have heard or seen them flying this year. Always a good sign that spring is not far behind.

Pygmy
The bluebirds are checking out the birdhouses too. Good news, covert, I just cleaned my bluebird boxes out today..That's when I saw 8 or 10 robins bob-bob-bobbin' around in my hayfield.. For the first time EVER since I have had bluebird boxes, I did not find a single mouse...Out of appx. two dozen birdhouses, all but 2 or 3 had nests from last season... covert
I cleaned mine out today too and got one mouse nest. Not so good odds though because i only have three boxes up right now. I did catch 21 mice in my garage this winter.
blackradio
I was shed hunting today and saw a big butterfly, mostly black with some orange. Wouldn't stay still long enough to snap a pic. Thought it was cool.

Pygmy
I cleaned mine out today too and got one mouse nest. Not so good odds though because i only have three boxes up right now. I did catch 21 mice in my garage this winter. 21 mice, eh ? ...Good score...Brings back memories.. A few years ago I rented an older mobile home, which was set right in the woods.. It was loaded with mice, so I bought half a dozen mousetraps and set out a trapline. I kept a talley of all the mice I caught on a piece of paper on my refrigerator door.. When I moved out of the trailer about a year later, I had recorded 44 mice on my score sheet. Edited March 11, 2013 by Pygmy
