PREDATE
While it will take immense focus and manual dexterity to make legitimate replies/posts, it will not increase any skill other than typing. Reading on the other hand will lead to vast knowledge!! LOL I say be a gentleman and let Growalot take the lead!

PREDATE
Joseph, @ 15 years of age you show exceptional enthusiasm for hunting, which I think is great! I had a few "wild years" spent partying n' such starting when I was 15-16. Looking back, I wish I'd spent that time in the woods! So I can say that there are alot worse things than spending time on HuntingNY. Keep with it bud! You're on your way to being a great hunter! Paula
The post count does not mean anything, it does not give added knowledge.

BizCT
I hunted as a kid till about 18, then it was party time till about 25-26, the last few years I've been obsessed again. My trips to Vegas, Miami, etc are now hunting trips. I never missed an opening day of gun season though. Even when I lived in nyc, I came back for it. Point is, your hobbies/interest will change at some point, hopefully you come back to fishing/hunting after the partying.

Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

Five Seasons
Joseph, @ 15 years of age you show exceptional enthusiasm for hunting, which I think is great! I had a few "wild years" spent partying n' such starting when I was 15-16. Looking back, I wish I'd spent that time in the woods! So I can say that there are alot worse things than spending time on HuntingNY. Keep with it bud! You're on your way to being a great hunter! I'm going to disagree. I would not have considered myself a hardcore partier. But I had a great time in high school and college. As a 29 year old I often reminisce about the days where I worked a part-time summer job to make just enough money to put gas in my beater car and buy some fun and spent my free time chasing tail, going to parties and experimenting. Those years are invaluable for shaping your future self's communication and social skills which will go a long way to helping you in many ways. I should add that i was still an honor roll student, and all county in 2 of 3 sports. And because of this i didn't pick up a bow until after college when I could devote the time it demanded to become skilled at it. No time to bowhunt during football season, but plenty of time around thanksgiving to go in with my browning. I still got in the woods and on the water after walleye, squirrel and deer but not as much time as I do now. But now, it's all about work, wife, baby and house. So the woods and water are my escape. I rarely drink more than 2 or 3 beers and certainly don't partake in some of the things I used to. Moral of the story? I'd enjoy these years Joe. You'll have your whole life to escape into the woods. But you're only in your teens and early 20's once. Enjoy the days where you can drink w/o consequences and where every girl you meet is likely just as inexperienced as you and most likely you're both not married haha. growalot
I would think the many times I post and re-post trying to fix typing and or spelling errors count also...No? That probably won't make a difference to those who find my posting #'s fodder for comments... Thanks for the clarification...I do receive and answer PMs ..go figure

Pygmy
That's a good thing ...hell the count may exceed the 7000 profile views I have if it did....lol I edit a lot too, Growie... I don't use spellcheck and often find spelling or composition errors after I have posted.. Also, I often send a post and have an "afterthought" that I decide to add.. Just part of being "old and infirm", I suppose..<<grin>>...
