I am far from grumpy. I don't share much of anything with people I know. Have you done any of the suggestion that were given to you?

You are being anti-social, no offense. All I am asking for is the address of some private land that you said you know about so I can ask the property owner for permission, why you won't help me I don't know.

If you had a couple of great hunting spots would you go out and give the property owns name to ppl you don't know so they could try to hunt the property?

Not only ticking the owners off...which as a owner that would do it.... but messing up your own hunts?...That is what you are asking her to do...

I really don't get you. Maybe I am misunderstanding you.

People have given you PLENTY of info, including quality public land options, and you still harp at getting private landowner info from another hunter on a forum.

Do a little work. People have provided links. How many doors have you knocked on, or called? Access here in this part of the state is very hard to come by and people have been nothing short of pleasant thus far with your repeated requests. Take some of their advice...go scout Letchworth, go check out the links...stop repeatedly asking for people's private land connections on a hunting forum.

I haven't once seen you thank them for that help, either.

You will never offend me because I do not know you and never will, no big deal.

I think your a lazy hunter, no offense meant. Now you are only entertainment to me.

LoL

I don't like knocking on doors either, but if you want private land access, try offering up something in return (i.e. Cash, or work, etc).

Man Up! I sent hundreds of emails to landowners and realtors in CT before getting 1 person to accept. You expect someone to let a stranger from a hunting forum to come hunt private land?

I use the tax records available online to do my scouting and locate the owners to then go and ask to save time. Also look on the dec website and find places. If you expect someone to give you their honey hole or land they worked to find, think again... Just find a spot that looks good and scout it yourself. If it is over an hour drive to the public land then sometimes ill ask the general question if that land has deer on it not asking for the specifics, just to see if its even worth the time and money to go and scout for the hunting season.

From what I've heard and seen on maps. You should consider letchworth seriously as he has recommended you to do. I'd go there and get some walking and scouting done

Come on Paula what is wrong with you

you are so mean just invite him over & hand feed him the Venison I don't think he was asking much LOL

some one draw him a map of Letchworth & put an X on the tree he should sit at & tell him exactly what time the deer will be passing through I would but I don't hunt there

oh yeah I know don't forget to put the Bib on him

good thing he isn't looking for a place to hunt in NH. he would give up you can go all season & never see a deer here. Never understood people like him

we started hunting NY 6-7 years ago & found land on DEC site had few people to get info from

only spend a week out in 8N so we are still learning but improving every year we go

very satisfying to me as we have pretty much done it on our own from learning the land to the Venison hitting the plate.

I am absolutely positive if he sets up just above the river, in the southernmost portion of this Letchworth picture, he will be within 200 yds of a nice buck...

May have to crawl 300 yds through the nastiest brush I have ever seen...

And, if it is Nov ,drive the buck to me ...lol
