Ruger SR .22

Im looking hard at these little pistols. They feel great in my hand and I have been looking for a .22 pistol. Anyone own one?  Any opinions or reviews??

I agree...Great feel. If I didn't already own a Ruger 22/45, I'd buy one. I really like that double action/single action comb. If they ever bring out one in .380, I'll buy it for sure.

I picked one up at the Rochester Gun Show in January.  It is a great pistol.  Feels great, looks great and shots very well.

I'm considering one of these also.  The choice is the SR22 or the S&W MP22.  I have the MP9mm so I'm thinking about getting it's little brother.

Hancock45 does an extensive review on the Ruger SR22 on youtube.  He's seems to really enjoy the pistol and looked like he couldn't put it down.

Wasn't there an issue with the MP22 being non NY state compliant (under little king Andy's new SAFE act) because the pistol had a threaded barrel????

Not sure about the threaded barrel issue.  I'll have to look into that.

Just target shooting and plinking.

I have one very comfy in hands I have large hands and they fit nicely. Shoot nice also good little plinker firearm worth the money

I checked out the M&P 22 on the Smith and Wesson website.  There is a California compliant version of the pistol which does not have a threaded barrel.  Just in case anyone was looking to get an M&P in NY.

Take a look at the Beretta NEOS U22. Less money than the Ruger and damned accurate. I have one with the 6" barrel and its a real shooter.

I was convinced I wanted a Ruger, until I compared the trigger to the one on a Buckmark. I bought the Browning and have been very happy with it.
