I guess this is like the pre game info but its time for me to scoot..i like to get out and sit in the dark way early..from my house walkin and dancin thru the lake erie effect snow over about 60 acres to get to my favorite spot..i see theres questions about atire and i too am wearing all white..ive had more success in this powdery snow with it and i just  started wearing it a few yrs ago..wind aint bad so i think im gonna recurve it up today..nothin against the gun but i like to have my fun too..ill probly sit and wait till 9 am to move..but then i go for a slow walk in the pines ..last weekend..lotta people gave up already..i already used the mzl/bow..time to fill reg season tag..

I put a stalk on the bottom ive been watching and then sat early this morning. Didnt see anything so I packed up and headed to my honeyhole. Ive heard a ton of shooting so the deer must be on their feet. We will see I guess.

Just had 3 doe come through. Couldnt get them to stop in a lane.

Got busted by four doe comin out..thats it for my season..glad i took what i did..now plans for predator night hunts..

Went home for lunch, now im back in the stand. I grabbed my trusty old mossberg for this sit. I have my pistol as well just in case I need the range.

I didn't go out today . I woke up with a horrendous headache . I get the headaches when there is a big change in the barometic pressure . It's my wife's birthday . Took her to breakfast and put the lights on the tree . That seemed to keep her happy . And ....... if mama ain't happy , ain't nobody goona be happy !

Little windy tonite but thought id scope the back 40 via spotlight..deer are hangin out in fields anyway..

Oh well saw nothing on Friday afternoon,sat all day yesterday saw doe all day the most I have seen all season.They were on the move.I did not see any horns at all.Oh well thats it for me.Might get out with the ML one day next week.All ready looking foward to next year.

Oh man that felt good..just woke up..seems like its been a long time comin fer that..i keep expecting a call or message fro my group sayin one last  deer push but im guessin they are as burnt out on deer as i am. As i sip this fine coffee and stare into the fire i can say i gave it everything i had this yr and i regret nothing. Now its time to boil some heads for european mounts  and slam some beers with buddies and share some stories..also lookin forward to posting some predator success pics and if i can swing a new vidcam then vids will pop up here too..

Sat all morning right till 11 now I am eating some granola bars and back to the stand in a few minutes. The deer were all overe the place last night
