All the deer i saw shot this past weekend including monday all had horns. Nobody saw any does! Are they in hibernation?1?1?

I have had 4 good shooting opportunities in a management program in westchester - all on bucks I can't take till I harvest a doe. Figures!

I'm seeing mostly does myself, harvested 4 baldies (1 button) and a 3.5 yr archery buck.

To be fair I've been targeting does only with North Country Just Doe doe pee since nov 3rd when i shot my archery 8 pt.

Now that gun season and rut are in full swing I'll be adding NC dominant buck and NC tarsal to my scent attractant regiment to try and fill my reg tag with another 3 or better yet 4 year old.

I just said this to my buddy on the phone.  We hunted 4f on the opening weekend and we saw 2 bucks and no does.  We always see does.  A weird season for us.

I always look for the areas that all the other hunters skirt around. You know, those thickets with the multiflora rose infestations, and the grape vines and sloppy wet swampy crap. They're in there. It's up to you to figure out how to sneak up on them ..... lol.

Looking for does in 3M. Filled buck tag opening day and only have 3 days left to fill doe tag! They seem to know they're safe along the roads back to camp.

Checked the dictionary ...... the plural of doe is doe or does. both can be used.

Majority of the deer I've seen lately are does.
