whats everyone's lottery number for special shotgun season in jan.

i'll try this out as a topic.   what is everyones lottery number who entered the drawing and are you hunting alone or with someone. maybe members can join other members who are hunting alone. might be a good way of learning new spots and meeting other members.

Hey I was going to do this today but forgot. We had 5 people put in their names. So far we got number 7!!!!!!! and number 705. 

3 others haven't checked the mail yet. Great idea on joining up with someone. Right now we have pairs going out but will keep everyone posted. BTW last year we went down on standby after the first week and always got in.

Suffolk County, L.I...............they hold a lottery to hunt on State and County land during the special January deer season.

If you did not get a drawing number you can claim a reservation for any spots that are unfilled at the dec check station in ridge from December 26-28 between 10am and 2pm. Hope that helps. Always some spots open.

Brother went down this morning with numbers 7 and 8. 1-7 didn't show up or are coming later he had the first pick of any spots. We took Otis Pike 9 and 10 same place we hunted last year. GL
