I never quite hit my stride this season, but I did tack on 2 more antlers from recent hikes.

First one was an oldie while out chasing turkey with the camera 4/23/14

4/28/14 found me hiking through some nasty jungle type terrain further down in the creekbottom.

The pic doesn't show it well, but this was the nastiest thicket I've ever rescued an antler from. I also grabbed a few more old skulls from this hike.

It's not gonna be easy at this point, but I'm still hoping to hit 20 antlers on the season so it's not a total flop!

I went out this evening to try to roost a gobbler for the morning, No luck with that, but instead I did find another antler!
It's from the beefy 4pt I got pics of last fall.

Another couple of nice finds with no chew.  It's nice to know those boys are still at large. Good luck at finding more.

I find myself scanning the country side for sheds while in the turkey mode.  Sheds cooperate far better than the turkeys have here , so far. At least once on the ground, they don't move, LOL.

I grabbed another one yesterday. I probably had no business finding myself stuck in this thicket being dressed the way I was(shorts) but it was worth it in the end!

It was nasty thick in here and I didn't see this one until I came around the big dead log and there it was 2 feet in front of me!

I knew our snow would eventually melt!
