I put a camera back up on monday out of boredom, checked it today and had my favorite 2 year old (aka "Wannabe) show up this morning still holding his antlers.  He's not the biggest buck in the area but has awesome potential for the upcoming year.  I hope I can snag his sheds...that is, if they ever hit the ground.

He must have some good eats somewhere , the city deer around me have been spotted in april with head gear.

For almost 30 years I've been seeing them in Amherst still hanging onto their gear until mid March.  I know plenty drop them way before that but far from all of them..............

Here's one that I found Tuesday, as he was eating the nut crop. Good place for a cam if the battery money didn't go to power company.

Saw a bunch of deer out in a combined cornfield last night on the way home from work...4 bucks in the bunch that still had antlers, including one NICE one.

At least you don't have to worry about the 'bone beavers' chewing on them where they're at! He'll be a good one for sure!

All this snow is really slowing everybody down this year.

I love how his brow tines have a slanted angle on them, I hope you find the sheds cause I would love to see a close up photo of them.

Question for WNY, you seem to have some slammers around your stomping grounds and you seem to keep pretty good inventory of them. Have you been able to connect with any of them?? I enjoy seeing your posts with these studs, gets me pumped. Just curious if you wrapped your hands on any yet?

yes i do remember that deer, what an amazing deer it is. was curious if WNY connected on any..

won't be to long, I'm so ready to find at least 1 shed hopefully. Seems like the last 5 years I haven't found jack squat.
