IT and Computer Nerds...

Quick question - I want to do a screenshare with someone. I can do it at work via Lync but it's not a work thing. No idea how I could do that on my own computer. Obviously don't want to spend money on it.

Any options?

It's easy...First you pop open a beer.

Next you log on to DORKZ.

When in DORKZ, upload the framscuttle TWICE.

After that, click on wackdoodle and crossload the fuzzbumper.

Once the fuzzbumper crossloads, sidestep into beenybopper.

As soon as beenybopper metabolizes, shut down the porksloop and re-boot the fernbender.

After that, pop open another beer and try gain. Nothing to it. Glad to help.

I thought you were joking until you said reboot. Every IT guy I have every known uses that step.

Last I knew, Webex and GoToMeeting are paid services may work short term on a free trial.

Remote Desktop is basically turned-of by default on most Windows based computers, and you would need to be on the same network ( like both connected to your home Wifi).

Best options would be LogMeIn free, Join.Me, or TeamViewer.

I have used all three to assist someone I know who lives a few hundred miles away at no cost to me.

I used a paid service for work.
