So who are you going hunting with for opeaning day gun season this year

Hunting by myself opening weekend but will be keeping in touch with a few buds during the day for sure. We help each other find and recover deer early on and hook up later in the season for some hunts.

Wife will be in her hut . I will be in my stand and my best friend of 45 years will be in his blind . He won't hunt past noon  and wife will want to go for breakfast around then . Then I will hop back in until dark .  Been the same thing for 10 years now .

Always have been pretty much a lone hunter, seeing this snow on the ground gets me excited as it will make for some great still and tracking hunting, an equalizer when it comes to Deer hunting.

Sorry @Pygmy we didnt have much luck but we didnt hear much shots either. Only counted 7 till 11am

But great bonding time with son and had great sunrise
