Got one this morning!

A coyote that is.  I was out trying to fill my doe tag when this guy trotted by. Got my crosshairs on him at 70 yards out.  Amazing what a 30.06 will do!

I have rarely come across them in 18 years but its starting to pick up. Hence, I never really paid attention to the regs on them. Is there a bag limit on them or if a pack of 10 came by could you take em all out?

As long as the season is open for them, there is no bag limit. You can hunt them during the day or at night, you can bait them, use a bow, shotgun or centerfire rifle (no centerfire in deer season though) or rimfire. You can use any type of call you want for them, and you can trap them as well. There are people that will buy the pelts from you too.

Everything is accurate except that you can use a centerfire rifle if you're not in a shotgun only area.
