Doc Posted January 18 Share Posted January 18 You know, if you wander around the woods enough, you get to see some of nature's accidents and strange looking things. Here is some I came across. That poor hickory must have been bent over by another fallen tree or something. Maybe it was a bowhunter that was trying to clear a shooting lane. airedale Posted January 19 Share Posted January 19 Those tree butt growths are called burls and they can get big and be worth a lot of money if they are not rotten especially from Cherry or Walnut trees.
