First buck with rifle

Three years rifle hunting and only seeing small bucks this seven point gave me a shot at 40 yards. I am very happy with my first buck with the rifle.

I am very happy but also sad this was my last tag

I got a doe with bow and a doe opening day of muzzleloader. But happy this is the first year with all three wepons

I shot him at 9 am all alone no does around he wasn't smelling ground or air just walking through.

My freezer is full thank you for the offer on the 7j tag but I have no where to hunt there.

Thank you everyone I am glad I found this forum. Everybody here is willing to help out when they can and share ther experiences good and bad.

That means it's almost time to pull that shotgun out and start busting some brush for those bunnies and grouse!! I've always had good luck in Rome/Utica area.
