Limiting Daily "Likes"?

Is there a reason for limiting the # of "Likes" you can give out in a day? You can burn through them quickly now with the harvest threads. Can that # be increased?? I just got an error, "You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day".

I'd "like" this but I've used all my "likes" in the harvest thread

I found it really weird the first time I got that error message.
