dbHunterNY Posted November 21, 2014 Share Posted November 21, 2014 be cautious when harvesting a lone doe. it very well could be a button buck. make sure it's got a long looking nose, mature looking longish body with short legs, or close enough view you can see it's not. a hot doe can act nervous always looking where it's been, tail at half mast, and/or a buck dogging it. I prefer to shoot adult does, and I generally avoid shooting single antlerless deer. An adult doe will MOST OFTEN be in the company of other deer.
