phade
I've used them for trails in marshes and have built blinds out of them in the past. They work well.

UpstateNomad90
If you use cardboard, look for something with multiple layers as it will last longer. Also check with your local supermarket, many give out the banana boxes for free and they work great as they have a wax coating on them. Just watch out for the spiders that can be shipped in them. I was looking into using pallets and cardboard for a blind, but I never got around to having the free time. Post some pictures if you do make something! growalot
Heres that link with pics....PS...new blinds as I stated will be water proofed with acrylic roofing paint that I camo...this will make them weather proofed enough to be close to the ground...I bought 4x8 sheets of 2ply corregated card board from a company out near Geneva...and had our son pick it up 78.00 if I recall and enough for 3 6x6 blinds http://huntingny.com/forums/topic/15471-card-board-blinds/ Edited February 3, 2015 by growalot

Five Seasons
Just be careful with some that have been chemically treated or contaminated. Someone gets sick every year from indoor burning.
