Dead Trail Cam value qu

I was wonder if there's any value in a trail cam that died and is just collecting dust on the shelf?  I know some people rebuild them or make their own. The camera inside and the housing have to be worth something to someone.

I don't know but I have seen Trail Cams listed on EBAY as non working -- for parts only .

If you have no need for it, throw it on ebay for no reserve and charge $8 or so for shipping to cover the cost. If you get $15 or $20, it is a winner for you comparatively.

How about you pack it with some nice fresh runny dog-crap and hang it on some busy state land tree for one of these scum-bag thieves to take home with them.

 

I had a $200 Cuddeback stolen. The filthy slime-balls cut the strap and took off with it. There is no retaliation that is too extreme for somebody that would even think about stealing from a fellow hunter like that.

I like the decoy/bait idea. I had one stolen for the first time last year and it was quite the disappointment.

I sold one last year to a member here for bait. I don't recall who he was off hand but he was from Rochester I believe. Hang a good camera up in the air and catch the dirty rotten scoundrel red handed.
