wmig2
Nice pictures. Fishers definitely are more prevalent anymore . I have called in a few fishers while coyote hunting the last few years and have seen some while deer hunting.

grampy
Nice pics! We have a good population of them here. See them quite often in the woods behind the house. Cool critters!

hunter49
Nice pics. Are those trees hinge cut for a reason? Just wondering.
bigpaul
I hinge cut them back in January. The deer fed on them pretty good until the deep snow pushed them off the hill. I plan on doing more hinge cutting when the snow melts down. A good 18" to 24" of snow up there right now. I received 6 apple trees on 4/4 and no where to plant them yet. Snow and frozen ground.
dbHunterNY
this past deer season I "squeeked" in a fisher. slowing down the video it got close enough. it started to leap from a small log at my foot to the next location which was my leg! I kicked my foot and made a loud "pshhhh-ttt" sound to keep it from jumping on me. lol it darted off and then poked it's head up on the other side of some cover maybe 2 yards away. on of the craziest and entertaining encounters I've had in the deer woods.
