IAatHeart
Hey everyone so I'm new to the area and I've been out fishing quite a bit at the foot of Sheridan and down at Gallagher pier mostly and doing pretty good with bass. My question is I always see people fishing out on Squaw island and I was just wondering what they're mainly fishing for out there? It seems like everyone just uses shiners on the bottom. I haven't spent a whole lot of time out there but I haven't ever actually seen anything caught.
Red
That's my night time spot for pike musky and walleye. I cast big 8-14" lures along the wall in the canal side and slowly walk the lures out to the point th n back down the wall i do it over and over all night changing the lure every now and then. While im walking the wall i cat out a shinner or a perch or rock bass with a big slip bobber and leave it out about 20-40' from the wall while i walk the lures leave the bale open or you might end up losing a pole lol. greg54
There's lots of good fishing out there ....depending on time of year. You can catch trout and and lots of panfish. We used to catch lots of silver bass on the end across from the foot of Hertel Ave.

IAatHeart
Haha yeah that's my biggest one he didn't have the best mass and that's a really good picture but he scored 156 and some change. I actually shot him from the ground at about 15 yds as he was following the trail of a hot doe that went by earlier that day and he ended up tipping over on a dead end road about 150yds away so that was really convenient! These are my other 2 bow bucks. The one with my buddy was same night but other side of the farm.
