Berries....

What a great crop of wild berries this year!...breakfast...plain yogurt with fresh honey and a 1/2 cup of mixed raspberries and black caps...My blue berries are the size of nickles and sweet...looks like the black berries will be great as well... Anyone been picking?

I took the dog out for a run yesterday. We didn't find any birds, but I did find a lot of blueberries. I had a few handfuls for lunch.

My blue berries are loaded and fat and just starting to ripen, lots of blackberries but on the small side this year,

I picked raspberries from some vines in my backyard,very good crop this year.Went to a farmer's market Sat., a woman selling blueberries said they started picking last Thurs.

Biueberries are plump and sweet, black caps are coming along just fine, the wild strawberries are just about gone but were plentiful and tasty this year, and made for a nice jam sandwich that will be lunch today!

 

The bears, birds, deer and other critters will have their choice of sweet stuff for awhile.

_{Black razzles we pick urban just off a main trail in town were terrible this year. Kept my eye on them and not a good year. Brothers red razzles were also weak in their prdoction of fruit. Glad you folks are having a good year with them.}

I bought some blueberries at stand in Somerset yesterday, the were nice and plump and sweet...it was there first day open also.

Theres a big patch of raspberries near a trail where I walk my dog. The berries are nice and big, and the bushes are full.

Just bought 2 pints of nice big , juicy blueberries this morning.Wild blackberries a still green over this way.
