I like these cooler days. Can certainly smell autumn in the air. Always gets me pumped for hunting season.

I just got back from a camping trip near Indian Lake. I was at the top of Chimney Mountain and looking over everything you could see the fall colors. It was great. Not to mention the cooler temps will have the deer stired right up.

Just found a few rubs setting up 2 more cams

Still need to brush in a few more ground blinds, move one ladder stand and put on the new broadheads (same as last years), find more camo and boots that will fit my grandson (he's growing fast). Other than a few small things, we will be ready to go!

Im way behind….Still have stands to set and clear. We still have spots to mow but my buddies brush hog is down and out. Might have to rent one.

Cameras have been out for 8 weeks... stands/blinds all set for the past 4 weeks... going to go and pull the cameras this weekend and hunt Thursday... I'm ready... Bow is shooting great.... Just need the deer to read the script..

Here we go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Funny how this starts on the fall equinox!  But deer can't tell time?  They know the planet and its cyles better than we do thats for sure.  As far as I am concerned this is the kick off for the earliest pre-rut to begin with does getting bred and bucks testosterone level rising to a peak in about 30 days and will last as long as doe can be bred, usually for 2 months or longer.  JMO
