Adk buck down

I shot him while he was chasing a doe a ridge below me, he dropped on the 2nd shot. He weighed 176 after hanging for 3 days. Not my biggest buck and not the heaviest but I think he is the biggest bodied buck I have killed. I would have loved to seen what he looked like a few weeks ago.

That is a tikka, good eye. She is a little customized via hacksaw so she now nicely sports a roughly 17 inch barrel.

Not to get the "ethics police" in here but he was 150yds and running chasing a doe I shot twice hit him both times and this was his heart.

Haha I forgot about that nickname. That bolt works pretty nicely on port side of that little shooter. As a rightie with a dominant eye on the other side it took a long time to figure out how to shoot wrong handed.

Thanks, shooting a rifle didn't take me as long as shooting bows. I hunted this year with a right handed bow and an eye patch due to a up coming rotator cuff surgery. It took way less time to re teach myself how to shoot right handed than it did to shoot "wrong" handed that's for sure.
