An icon from the Harlem Globetrotters has passed away. He was 83 yo.

A very funny and entertaining guy. And very generous with his time regarding community service work.Lots of memories from when I was a kid.

Cant believe he was 83.  He must have been pretty old when I saw him play.

Meadowlark and Curly Neal...quite a combination. Fun stuff. We saw the trotters once about 10 years ago. Just not the same as the Meadowlark gang.

I remember them on ABC's Wide World Of Sports.  Meadowlark would always throw a bucket of confetti into the crowd when everyone assumed it was water. lol

He was a very funny,,very talented guy…..

Good man; a God fearing man.  Would watch him on TV sometimes...was very inspiring.
