RoadKill44
The cold weather has got everyone inside. Proudly show your photos of the stoves keeping you warm. My wife wants a fireplace badly. We have forced air but the family room gets cold. A nice looking stove might be our ticket.

fasteddie
We got rid of our wood burning stove and had a natural gas stove installed it it's place a little over a year ago . My whole house generator is scheduled to be installed March 2 so I should be in good shape for heat and electricity .

Lawdwaz
The cold weather has got everyone inside. Proudly show your photos of the stoves keeping you warm. My wife wants a fireplace badly. We have forced air but the family room gets cold. A nice looking stove might be our ticket. More information needed here: Does your wife want a WOOD burning fireplace or GAS? Do you have natural gas at your door step now? LP? Oil? How many acres of woods do you own or have available to cut wood from? Truck, tractor, trailer, chainsaw, axe, maul, wedge are only part of the tools needed to burn your own wood. Oh yea, you'll need plenty of elbow grease, too. OR, will you just buy your wood? Gas burning fireplaces are quite appealing these days! Doewhacker
Wood stove, I'm buying a splitter this year after doing 12+ cord of log length last year (half split by hand) I am looking forward to a smaller amount this year and a quality machine to help. Luckily I have some trees to take down so I won't have to buy the logs this year but I do plan on getting a compact tractor to help.
