Deer/horse. Flies.......

OMG!!! They are swarming ..spray had no effect..I managed to get the rest of sweet corn planted..but thesy managed to get me at least 4 times.

How's the rest of the state doing?

They're pretty bad here too. Must be making up for the light black fly season we seem to have had.

Got zapped a few times today and already manged too itch off the first layer of skin on all of them in the first hour,lol

Deer fly suck the most out of all our summer biting bugs.

They're just too damn quick to smack a few back!

I hate them too. They do bite through clothes, or worse, when hey act like sweat bees and get inside your clothes so you run around yelling obscenities while stripping.

Don't seem to be bothering the horses much, but the deer are another story.

The horse flies around here are like B-52 bombers and they are relentless in their pursuit!

Threw some lead with the .44 downrange behind my buddies yesterday. Took a good walk. Think it was too windy for these lil buggers as we had no problems with them. I expected them to be bad.

Now golfing these SOB's were a PITA. Learned to put my hand on top of my head, wait for them to land and slowly move hand dow n to swat with other. It sucked getting nabbed mid backswing.

I used to be pretty darn good at swatting those deer flies. I don't miss very often.
