Pretty Good Light Show Last Night!

Ma' Nature put on a good show last night and we got some much needed rain. 

 

Who's got a rain gauge and what'd it tally?  All I need to do is stick a tape measure in my boat's bilge.................

empty water barrel shows 1/2-3/4 in in bottom....it was great!.....and cooled us down to very comfortable temps. can hardly wait to see how much the garden grew ...one more cup of coffee first

Lots of thunder and lightning, but only about a quarter inch of rain here.

Was a cool show! That's only the 4th time I've heard thunder since moving here. That's one thing I'm looking forward to back home is listening to a good summer thunderstorm

must be nice ! I can't fall asleep with the tv on , on a plane , fireworks and thunder keep me up , yet to take a nap in the woods and I've tried , sorta like the Metallica song "sleep with one eye open "

As for rain , we got squat. About to go water the veggies.

Nothing but noise and light here maybe maybe a sprinkle but none of the kids toys had any water in it and pool cover is empty we need it

My driveway was dry when I got up this morning.

 

I checked withe the NWS at Buffalo and they had .41" at the airport yesterday.  You & I are pretty close to them, as the crow flies.

We had lightning with no thunder. They get that kind of weather in the desert in Arizona. Rained with a little pea size hail mixed in for good measure for one minute, fifteen seconds. Time to water that pumpkin seed again so she sprouts.

Just enough rain here to wet the driveway, I did go outside to watch the light show that nearly surrounded us.
