Is this a Mulberry bush?

Was walking through an area and spotted this tree/bush. More like a tree because the trunk was 8" round. Had big green leaves and huge berries. Would love to have one of these at my place!

Yes, that's a mulberry, they are trees, not bushes. I planted one at my house a few years ago, but it never took. The fruit is better tasting than any berry I know of.

Uncle NIcky is correct. They are also considered a weed type tree, as they can usually grow anywhere and are very hard to kill. If they are cut down to a stump, they will grow back. I had one on my front lawn and the deer loved the berries so much that I would often see them having a mid day snack.

This is the beast we have where we live now. I like the fruit but I am not going miss this tree, all the BS to keep it trimmed back, and purple poop on my Jeep!
