I don't take electronics into the woods,(no cell phone service where I hunt anyway, luckily) but I have a sunrise/ sunset program , and moon phase program which are very helpful, and practical.

I have huntstand, it shows property boundries, I have all my stands on it. It gives wind direction throughout the day so u can see if it will Chang while on stand. There's more that I haven't used yet but seems like a decent app.
